2100 M Street, designed by
The Weihe Partnership, consists of 298,069 square feet in
office, retail and storage space. The eight-story building
overlooks a landscaped park immediately to the north and
offers panoramic views down M Street into Georgetown. The
entrance lobby was completely renovated in 1998 and features
marble, cherrywood and bronze finishes. A security station
houses state-of-the-art surveillance systems, and a uniformed
lobby attendant monitors activities during regular business
hours and on Saturdays.
2100 M Street has windows around the perimeter of over 90
percent of each floor giving abundant natural light to these
offices. The typical floor area of 34,855 square feet is
well suited for the large space user wishing full-floor
identity and privacy. Efficiently planned core and floor
service areas maximize usable square footage. There are
three below-grade garage levels with 213 parking spaces,
one penthouse mechanical floor and a delivery entrance on
the first parking level.
2100 M Street was sold in 2000.
