Designed by the Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, KOIN Center in Portland, Oregon, opened in 1984 and has become the focal point of the downtown skyline. The exterior is a combination of natural limestone and brick, trimmed in marble with grey-tinted reflective glass windows. Interior finishes include Italian perlato marble floors and walls, anodized aluminum doors and custom-designed chandeliers.

There are 23,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space on the first three levels of KOIN Center; 324,000 square feet of office space on floors 4 through 19 and 44 condominiums on the uppermost 11 floors. The studios and broadcast facilities of the local CBS affiliate, KOIN-TV, are in approximately 68,000 square feet below grade. Efficiently planned core and floor service areas maximize usable square footage. Flexible floor plates of approximately 18,000 square feet accommodate layouts for both large, full-floor tenants and smaller space users.

KOIN Center was sold in 2007.
